Buckwheat Bread and Pancake Mix

Baking mixes with a base of organic buckwheat flour, stone milled by Oh My Goodness Specialty Breads in Hawkes Bay. Buckwheat is high in protein, amino acids and B-vitamins. These baking and pancake mixes are gluten, dairy, sugar, nut and egg free and are suitable for vegan and Paleo diets. 

Use the Bread Mix to bake your own version of the popular OMG loaves. This pre-mix contains whole buckwheat flour and activated seeds. The bag includes a recipe card with several recipes including ‘no knead’ and sourdough loaves. Ingredients: buckwheat flour, tapioca flour, linseeds, chia seeds, salt, kelp powder. 840g makes two loaves. Larger bags are available, email shop@thegrocer.nz for details. 

The Pancake Mix of stoneground buckwheat with chia seeds makes a perfect batch of light, fluffy pancakes. It’s also great for baking, muffins, fritters. Ingredients: buckwheat flour, tapioca flour, chia seeds, salt, baking powder, kelp powder. 840g makes 25 pancakes.
