Buddstone Egg

Buddstone is the name commonly used by lapidarists and collectors for metamorphosed chert with distinctive contorted green and white layers that give the rock a swirling appearance.  The attractive green colour is caused by the contamination of green minerals; Chlorite, Epidote or Fuchsite.
