Easily tap the hardwiring kit into any permanent, accessory, or ignition power feed and you're good to go. A special low power switch off chip it built-in as well, so when the voltage of your vehicle drops below 11.6V it will automatically switch off. This is useful if you tap it onto constant power supply and leave your camera unit or GPS HUD on 24/7 as you do not want it to fully drain your battery.
