Strange Nature is a premium New Zealand gin made from the spirit of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and bearing all the quintessential flavours of its unique origins. Aromatic and fruity, it's part tropical and zesty, part herbaceous. Enjoy sweet notes (Fresh Pineapple, Candied Grapefruit, A Touch Of Kaffir Lime, And Blood Orange) and savoury hits (Piney Juniper, Blackcurrant Leaf, And Fresh Green Pepper) in every sip.

Strange Nature started life more than 15 years ago, when their grapevines took root in the ground. Over those 15 years, these vines have taken on the distinctive characteristics of their environment - absorbed through the soil and sun, and expressed each year in the fruit that is harvested to make wine.

When Giesen Wines began making alcohol-removed wine, they used these same grapes. Which gave the team at Strange Nature an idea. What if they could use the pure white spirit extracted from wine, to craft a unique, varietally expressive gin?

After 18 months of trials, they settled on double distillation with juniper as an unexpectedly perfect marriage with their natural Sauvignon Blanc grape spirit. The proof is in the drinking - trust us, this flavour is as unforgettable as it is unique.
