West Coast is an original standalone (unaccompanied) contest standard duet, originally intended for Flugel Horn and Baritone, but works equally well for Cornet/Flugel/Trumpet and Euphonium/Baritone.
In 3 distinct movements it allows the performers to demonstrate a variety of technical and musical aspects of their playing, making it an ideal choice for contest or concert.
It was the winning piece in the 2021 New Zealand National Brass Band Championships as well as the 2021 Auckland Solos.
