Black Cumin (Nigella Sativa Seeds)

Nigella sativa is more accurately known as black caraway and is a native of India. It is commonly used in Indian and Middle Eastern cuisines, as well as Polish. When dry roasted these offer complex flavour to curries, vegetables and pulses such as lentils and beans. These seeds are also great in bread recipes and are often used in the Chinese five spice mix.
