Water Wāhine Wānanga - SATURDAY 4th May 2024

With the support of Water Safety we have put together a specific 1-day pool based SSI Basic Freediver course for Wāhine Māori, with the goal to help prevent freedive related drownings among our whānau Māori. We would love to support our wāhine to be and feel more confident in the water, and develop the foundational skills of freediving to keep themselves, and their whānau safe when out in the moana diving and collecting kaimoana.

To secure your spot we will require a deposit of $99. This will be fully refunded upon completion of the wānanga. If you cancel or do not show then the deposit will not be refunded. If you are unable to pay the deposit but really keen to do the course please email us on kiaora@saltaotearoa.co.nz

IMPORTANT: Prerequisite (this is a non-negotiable so make sure it's signed off before booking):

- Must whakapapa Māori AND identify as wāhine
- Must be 16yrs
- Completed and signed medical form and consent forms below. Read and sign these carefully before paying and booking your spot.
