24ct Gold, Oxidised Sterling Silver, and Diamond Coin Ring, Kurtulan

This gorgeous ring has been made using a sterling silver copy of a Byzantine coin depicting Neptune. 24ct yellow gold brightly frames the coin which also has a tiny diamond set within. The use of oxidised silver also adds to the aged look of the piece. This ring was handmade by award winning Turkish jewellery designers Kurtulan.

The designers Meltem and Naci Kurtulan are regarded as leading figures in the jewellery industry, not just in Turkey. Their 24 karat golden jewels with diamonds and selected gemstones are exclusively crafted by hand. The clear and timeless elegance of the pieces has also won over the international scene. Kurtulan won the first prize three times in a row between 2000 and 2003 in competitions held by the World Gold Council plus many more international awards.
