3RDAX™ PLA Silk 3D Printing Filament

DESCRIPTION

PLA is the most popular 3D printer filament used worldwide by hobbyists and professionals. It is normally the first material everyone prints with when they first receive their printer. From this point some people start to experiment with other filaments but most like to stick with PLA as it is the easiest material to print whilst being cost effective.

PLA Silk has minimal warping and remains reasonably rigid. It is one of the most eco-friendly 3D printing materials available as it can be bio-degraded in the right conditions.
PLA Silk is also odorless and non-toxic which makes it suitable to print in rooms with minimal ventilation therefore making it safe for humans and also pets within the area.

PLA Silk gives a shinny / glossy finish to look like silk fabric and really stand out in the light.
This material can still be sanded and painted like standard colour PLA, which still makes it perfect for printing models, figurines and more. Or if you want to take it to the next level, 'lost PLA casting' is an awesome way to make your PLA prototypes out of metal such as aluminum and more.
