"To optimize the consumption of leather and avoid unnecessary waste of leather, Nardi has chosen as from February 2020 to cover its best-selling steering wheel DEEP CORN 350 mm with 4 sectors of black perforated leather or black suede instead of using a single strip of leather, giving an even more sportive look to the steering wheel" Customers can expect to receive either one of the older or newer revisions in their order depending on the item's manufacture date which cannot be determined based on the external packaging.

Suede wheels are intended for track or motorsport use with gloves as protection.
Standard road use without gloves and exposure to heat, sun, moisture, sweat and oils will cause accelerated wear and tear.
