FEMMAX® Vaginal Dilators were originally designed by a cancer nurse in the UK to ma nage adhesions following pelvic surgeries and radiation treatments. They are now recommended worldwide to help reduce the pain with penetration women can experience due to the following:

- Vaginismus or Vestibulodynia
- Scar tissue following surgery or vaginal delivery

FEMMAX® V aginal D ilator s are BPA-free, safe and easy to use. They are stored discretely in a small, portable hard case and come with 4 different sizes to allow a natural progression. Generally , the first step is to inser t the smallest dilator to gently stretch the tissues whilst us ing techniques such as breathing exercises or guided relaxation to calm down your nervous system â s response. After practicing this for a while, if it becomes easy to do ( i.e. you donât experience any discomfort and you donât feel anxious with insertion) then progression to the next size is indicated.
