Damascus Toki from High & Low Layers

The damascus steel for this pendant was forged by Benjamin from bandsaw blades and 1084 high carbon steels into a bar of high and low layer patterned steel before being ground into a Toki shape, polished and hed. This was then  bound by Marisa using black waxed thread with slip knots making the pendant easily adjustable in length.

The modern Toki is worn as a symbol of mana, strength, authority and leadership.
