The steel blade on this integral damascus clipped kitchen knife is pattern welded from layers of salvaged wrought iron and bandsaw blades with 1084 high carbon steel, hand forged to shape.
The handle is made from a beautifully figured piece of spalted sycamore tree from the little property we rent in Carterton that was felled. It has been stabilised for added durability.
This art knife comes with its own signed Certificate of Authenticity.
