Beretta Model 687 EELL Field

This Beretta 6827 shotgun was purchased new by the original owner in the UK, in 1981, and he brought it to with him when he emmigrated. In the Uk he used it for grouse and phaesant hunting
He passed away and the family has asked me to sell it for them.
It appears to be an early EELL series gun, with sideplates and extensive engraving

Mechanically it is in excellent condition and has been looked after, not showing any appreciable wear, but the wood does show it has been handled and used.

Some scuffing on the underside of the butt stock and minor marks on firearn attest to this. The right side of the butt stock has what appears to be a gouge but it looks to only be in the finish not the wood, so would be easily repaired if desired.

The 28" barrels are fixed choke, 1/2 and 3/4, and together with the single selectable trigger and ejectors this would make a very nice upland game gun, small game or even usuable for sporting clays.

Alternatively its would be an excellent addition to someones collection.

The shotgun comes with a very nice case, some cleaning gear and snap caps
