‘OH, NO MISTER POSSUM! BOOK with HUGELY popular ‘Oh, No Mister Possum’ ‘Sing-along-Song’ (QR Code download). Book and song written by Erin Devlin and illustrated by Greg O’Donnell. Music by Greg O’Donnell together with vocalist Mark Jensen.

"Oh Mister Possum, no, no, no, no!   Don't eat my trees, don't eat my leaves. Hey, Mister Possum, no, no, no, no, don't eat my trees, I beg you, please!"

Possums have no natural predators in NZ. They were brought here from their native Australia to establish a fur trade in the 1830's but sadly, when this venture failed these pests were let loose and as a consequence there's now many, many millions of possums living around NZ.  Erin Devlin's quirky book 'Oh, No Mister Possum!' sees these guys returned, in disgrace, to their native Australia..Tamariki throughout know and love singing along to this catchy song!

"So, come on now Mister Possum, I've thought of something great to do.. An aeroplane's just off to Oz, and there's a free seat JUST for YOU!"

"So, bye bye Mister Possum, and too, da, loo, da, loo, and guess what Mister Possum?  It's free for your mates too!"
