Black Nikau On White  10cm Bowl

The nikau is a palm tree endemic to New Zealand. It is found throughout New Zealand but one of my favourite locations to view them is along the West Coast of the South Island. It is here that you can see groves of this outstanding and majestic palm tree.

Technical information:

Made from white porcelain, inside semi-gloss clear glaze with decal and unglazed outside.
Size 10cm diameter x 2.8cm high ˑ each piece comes boxed with an image of the design on the lid.
These pieces feature irregularities in both shape and form; this is part of the organic nature of the collection.
Designed in New Zealand by Jo Luping.
