Originally introduced to New Zealand's Central Otago region by Chinese gold-miners in the 1800s, wild thyme now grows abundantly throughout the arid, rocky landscapes that border Alexandra, Roxburgh and the Cromwell Gorge towards Queenstown. Thyme honey has punchy herbal flavours ideal for pairing with salty cheese or in savoury marinades. Try it as a glaze on your favourite lamb dish.

Store in a cool, dry place. Recommended storage conditions 20oC or less.
