This beautiful pendant is carved from Black Mother of Pearl shell by Revolution Aotearoa. It showcases an engraved pitau design, a pattern that adorns the rafters within Whare Tupuna (Ancestral Houses) symbolising unity and togetherness and the importance of whānau (family).
This contemporary design blends traditional Māori artistry and flair with modern form and function. The result bridges the old and the new, exuding both authenticity and cultural significance.
