Flaxseed, or Linseed as it is also known, is one of the oldest crops, thought to have been cultivated as early as 3,000 BC.

Flaxseeds are a source of omega 3, an excellent source of dirty fibre, and a source of plant protein. They are also a source of Iron, Potassium, Magnesium, Manganese, Niacin (vitamin B3), Thiamin (vitamin B1) and Phosphorus. Low in sugar, Sodium and Cholesterol.
