Large White Glazed Ceramic Tureen.

A colossal Tureen or serving dish with a charming dove shaped lid.

Sits on a large circular plate. Normally vegetables were served in the tureen and the meat was on the plate alongside.

Ok we confess, it was made in Italy but we found it at a little brocante in France.

Plate 34cm dia. Tureen 24cm dia and 28cm to top of dove.
