The has two large pockets on the front for quick access to important items, these pockets are large enough to take a Jetboil, canteen cook set, wolfhound jacket or similar sized item. These front pockets each have two internal pockets to help organize the contents. There are three flat pockets on the back of the bag for extra storage. 

The bag also has a zippered rectangular compartment with four flat pockets and a space for a notebook or tablet. There is a zippered pocket in the back wall for valuables. Keys and other small items can be hung on loops for easy access.

The bag is named after the Claymore mine, which has been carried in a similar bag since the 1960s. These handy shoulder bags became so popular with soldiers and civilians that Helikon Tex have produced their own upgraded version.
