Rewarewa Honey

Brood Brothers Rewarewa honey is produced from New Zealand's native honeysuckle tree, Rewarewa honey is very high in antioxidants, it has a very distinctive spiraled bright red flower that produces a deep reddish honey with a long-lasting unique caramel flavour. The honeysuckle tree is found in the hills of the Bay of Plenty and Waikato regions of the North Island, it is highly regarded as one of the most flavourful and unique honeys that native New Zealand trees produce. 

Brood Brothers bees are placed near large areas surrounded in honeysuckle tress in order to capture the one Rewarewa flavour of honey, therefore giving this honey a very distinct flavour from the honeysuckle flower. This making each Brood Brothers honey taste very different and has its own characteristics much like different beers or wine vintages.
