Not only was the smokiness of this blend favoured in Russia; the smoking process also served to help preserve the tea leaves for the long journey across Asia and the various climates that would be encountered along the way.

Our version of has the classic Tea Palace twist of taking the finest quality, whole black Lapsang Souchong leaves and blending them with spicy Chinese Yunnan for a blend of outstanding quality and full-bodied, balanced smoky flavour.

To Enjoy

Place one teaspoon per cup into an infuser, filter or teapot. Add freshly boiled water and infuse for 4 minutes. Serve immediately or remove leaves to prevent spoiling.
