Request Removal
You can request your website be removed from Vendo's listings by emailing us and listing the URL (website address).
When a website is removed all products are deleted instantly and will not appear on Vendo's search results, and Vendobot will no longer visit your website. We'll add the URL to a "no-index" list which ensures your website won't be visited or relisted.
Note: some products may still appear in Google's index, as It normally takes a few days for Google to update.

Why am I listed?
We’e trying to make it easier for kiwis to shop online from small businesses and independent retailers from around New Zealand. We created a "bot" called Vendobot (similar to how Googlebot and other search engines work) which scans the web looking for New Zealand based buinsesses that sell on their website. If our bot sees products with price, an image and a description it will add the product to our index and attempt to accurately extract store information like business name, phone number and address. This is not always correct so we sometimes need to manually edit stores, or even remove them, if the data is not accurate or doesn’t meet the criteria of a New Zealand based online store.
Sometimes our bot may miss your website because it can’t detect any products with prices etc. Or it might include your website even if you don’t sell something. That may be because you are using Shopify or Woocommerce or similar technolgies that are used for selling online.
If the details our bot extracts and displays is incorrect it would be helpful if you could let us know so we can improve our software. You can also edit any of your details by clicking on "Claim this business" and creating an account. Vendobot by default will visit your website only once a month to ensure the lightest load on your website’s server. You can change this to weekly or daily if you want to ensure your products are more up-to-date.
We are happy to remove your business if you prefer not to be listed. We make sure if a store is removed on request that out bot doesn’t visit your website in future by adding the URL to a "noindex" list amd we delete all other records for that website from our database.
How do I change the information that is displayed on my store?

Start by searching for your store under stores then going to your storefront page. You should see a "Claim this business" link at the top. If you don’t it is possible someone else has been assigned the store, just let us know by emailing us and we’ll send you a link to log in.
