Barlibro RPR is a regenerating perennial ryegrass with a unique ability to repair itself from significant wear and heavy traffic. Recommended for hard wearing sports grounds, golf courses as well as the domestic lawn. What it means for the home lawner is a thicker tougher rye grass lawn than normal rye grasses can deliver. Up in a week and medium-green in colour.

This one has been a family favourite over the years and is found in most garden centres. It’s a standard Rye Grass/Fescue mix (80/20). Easy to grow and cheaper here than anywhere else. Might look patchy to start as the fescue will take a lot longer to germinate than the ryes. They'll catch up so be patient.

A rye grass and clover mix. If you just want grass cover and don't care about looks - this is it - we call it Just Grass (or in the pasture range - rye clover).  Its not a dwarf though but a high grower. Used by contractors on the berms, hobby farmers to oversow pasture and landlords for rentals.

This mix of creeping red and chewings fescue is great for under the trees or in the shade as long as you fertilise regularly with slow release. Remember it’s the lack of nutrient that often kills the grass under trees - not the lack of sun. Fork the soil under trees to avoid compaction that often occurs there. Grass won't grow in compacted soil - can't breath. Full bird protection.

A lovely dark green creeping grass that requires maintenance to keep looking good. It needs drier well aerated conditions to thrive and does not respond well to over-watering or compacted soils. It can be a beautiful lawn in the right conditions and with a lot of care. Only for those serious about their lawns - or their golf.

Can be broadcast but best results are achieved through growing plugs and transplanting.  Because it's a weed there will always be difficulties with weed control. That aside people see it appear (often under trees) and like the way it looks and persists. 1kg 100sq metres. It comes from Italy by the way.

This is a medium bladed rye with a small amount of fine fescue included. Recommended for lifestyle blocks where it can persist well with little maintenance and is well priced because it goes further with less seed needed.
