Hand screen-printed cards

A special and unique gift card, these beautiful cards are often kept & treasured as a work of art.

Each card is silk screen-printed, on recycled hand made paper at Tara Books' sustainable print workshop in Chennai, South India, which employs, trains and nurtures young bookmaking artisans.

These prints are from the book Waterlife. Creatures of the water as you have never seen them before, rendered in the brilliant Mithila style of folk painting from eastern India. Mithila art originated from women in rural communities in the state of Bihar.
