Harakeke Flower Black On White
The harakeke, or flax as the first European Settlers called it, is the name given to the native New Zealand Lily by Maori. It is a symbol of family as the outer leaves represent the extended family members who must protect the inner shoots or children.
Technical information:
Made from white porcelain, inside semi-gloss clear glaze with decal and unglazed outside.
Size 10cm diameter x 2.8cm high Ë each piece comes boxed with an image of the design on the lid.
These pieces feature irregularities in both shape and form; this is part of the organic nature of the collection.
