Blue Kowhai On White Serving Plate

The kowhai is one of the best known native trees in New Zealand and it is our unofficial national flower. The name comes from the Maori word for yellow due to its golden colour. Planting a Kowhai tree in your garden will attract native birds such as the tui, bellbird, kaka and kereru.

Made from white porcelain, semi-gloss clear glaze with decal on the front and unglazed back.
Size 35cm long x 22.5cm wide / comes boxed with an image of the design on the lid.
These pieces feature irregularities in both shape and form; this is part of the organic nature of the collection.
