This balm is a delicate blend of Wild Rosehip & Homegrown Calendula infused oil & local beeswax. It’s luscious, soft & spreads easily, perfect for your everyday facial routine. It’s extremely moisturizing, sinking deep into your skin for an all day nourishing feeling, or a lovely penetrating night time balm. This would be great for anyone with delicate or aging skin (and let’s face it, anyone over 25 has aging skin whether they like it or not!). This is a very soft balm with very little wax so it instantly melts onto the skin.

Rosehips & Rosehip oil is full of vitamins, antioxidants, essential fatty acids, vitamin E, vitamin C & B-carotene, a form of vitamin A. Rosehip oil is excellent at moisturizing by penetrating deeper into the skins layers, ans is known for brightening & firming the skin, fading scars & reducing wrinkles by assisting with skins renewal and repair. I’ve wild harvested Rosehips from incredibly healthy & happy wild rose plants growing in Central Otago, New Zealand. These plants have been thriving on their own for generations, weathered by the hot sun and rocky alpine climate, they are full of pure nature.

The Rosehips have been slowly infused in Organic Almond oil for 2 months.

Calendula is a gentle skin healer, which promotes wound healing and skin cell regeneration. It's soothing, healing & tonifying to the skin, with astringent and anti-inflammatory properties.

Almond Oil is a nutritious & lightweight oil, high in fatty acid, penetrates the skin well, & is soothing to dry, inflamed or itchy skin.

Organic locally sourced beeswax, from a friends hive.

All of my skincare is created without the use of synthetic ingredients or chemical preservatives. They are hand blended in small batches, using homegrown, wild harvested & organic ingredients & packaged in beautiful recyclable metal tins. Please remember to store in a cool, dark place and use within 9-12 months.
