Hempseed & Violet Hand Balm

A lusciously rich moisturiser to nourish & protect dry skin areas such as the hands, delicately scented with Bergamot.

Homegrown Violets & Self Heal have slowly infused in Hempseed oil to extract the medicinal healing properties of Violets, before being handblended with Raw Shea Butter & local Beeswax.

Perfect as a handbalm to nourish & protect your hands or re moisturise after a day in the garden.
Violet leaf is nourishing, soothing, cooling & healing to the skin with properties that make it great for any dryness of the body (inside & out). Violet has moistening & lubricating abilities & will leave your lips feeling soft & luscious.

I've added a few lovely essential oils so that you can smell yummy when using this balm, Lavender, Rose & Rose Geranium.

Self Heal really stands out as a first aid & medicinal herb. It has anti bacterial, anti viral & astringent properties & stems the flow of blood. It’s most commononly been used throughout history to treat wounds and heal the skin.  In a first aid situation you can make a poutice or a herbal infusion with leaves & flowers to stop bleeding, disinfect a wound, reduce swelling through tonifying & tightening tissues and speed the healing of wounds.

NZ Hempseed Oil is a rich source of omega 3 & 6 known to nourish, pacify, revitalise & moisturise dry skin. Hempseed provides long lasting moisture, over time increasing your skin’s ability to retain moisture, ensuring luscious lips for longer! It’s naturally calming and the moisture combats the temporary discomfort of dry, chapped, windburnt or sunburnt lips.

Organic Shea Butter is deeply moisturising, penetrating deep into the skins layers whilst also forming a protective barrier, keeping moisture in and dryness from the elements out.

Ingredients: Violet Leaf, Self Heal, Hempseed oil, Local Beeswax, Raw Shea Butter, Bergamot Essential oil.

Each balm is handcrafted from wildcrafted herbs which have been infused in organic oils. Hand blended in small batches with seasonally available, fresh plant materials. No artificial preservatives are used, please keep your metal tin well sealed in a cool dark place and use within 12 months. The tin can be easily upcycled and reused once you've finished your balm.
