Kokopu Toki Pendant

The Toki is 48mm in length and 24mm at its widest.

This Toki is carved from pounamu (jade, greenstone) we have collected from the Marsden Valley in the Paroa area just outside of Greymouth on the West Coast of the South Island.  The Kokopu Pounamu is named after the native New Zealand trout as it has the same speckles and colouring as the fish.

It  has a extremely strong, waxed nylon cord so the pendant can be worn ALL the time - even in any kind of water.  The cord is adjustable by pinching the special knots between your thumb and finger and pulling.

Pendant  Meaning :  The Toki is the adze blade, the tool.  It gives the wearer strength and courage to face, get through, do and achieve anything in their life.
