This personally guided tour takes you into the Mackenzie Country, which has stunning glacial blue lakes like Tekapo and Pukaki>You will have time to explore small rural towns and enjoy lakeside strolls. The view from Lake Pukaki of Mt Cook and the Southern Alps can be stunning but is of course weather dependant.You may choose to return home the same way or continue in a loop down the Waitaki Valley passing 3 more lakes before returning to Timaru. A stop at a local winery can be included later in the day.
